Vaccaro Top Finisher for Stars at Lakefront Invitational

Stars finish 18th at Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational

River Forest, Ill. - Sophomore Megan Vaccaro (Oswego, IL) paced the Dominican University women's cross country team to an 18th place finish at the 35th Annual Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational hosted by Loyola University on Saturday. Vaccaro finished in 63rd place with a time of 20:48, running a 6:42-mile during the 6k race.

Fellow sophomore Jeanine Bentley (Downers Grove, IL) finished second for the Stars, finishing the course in a time of 21:48 while freshmen Elise O'Connor (Omaha, NE), Eileen Eck (Oak Lawn, IL) and Megan Benner (Tiffin, OH) rounded out Dominican's top five finishers.

The Stars will run in the Benedictine University Eagle Invitational on Friday, October 5. The races are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. at the course in Lisle, IL.
