River Forest, Ill. - Dominican University hired former women's tennis standout Yvette Vazquez as an assistant coach for the men's and women's tennis programs. While a student at Dominican University, Vazquez competed with the university's women's tennis team, serving as team captain all four seasons from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, Vazquez was named the team's Most Valuable Player in 2000, 2001 and 2002.

Vazquez is a certified PTR instructor and has been playing tennis for over twenty years and has been coaching tennis for the last two years for ages ranging from four years old through adults.
