Binyamin Jones was a four-year letterwinner with the Dominican University men's basketball program from 2003-2007, appearing in every game for the Stars throughout his entire career. Named the team's Most Improved Player in 2005, Jones scored more than 650 points and pulled down over 525 rebounds in 105 career games. During his sophomore campaign, Jones posted career highs in both points and rebounds per game, averaging 9.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest.

One of the most versatile athletes to pass through the Stars' program in the last 15 years, Jones logged five double-double efforts, including a 20-point, 16-rebound performance in an 80-74 win over Greenville College in the 2006 North-South Classic, landing Jones on the 2006 All-Tournament Team.

A true student of the game, Jones improved his shooting percentage to .437 on his career from a .329 percentage during his freshman season. Jones could always be found in the gym working on his perimeter game to complement his speed and athleticism. Thanks in part to Jones's desire to improve, the Stars improved with him. During his freshman year the Stars posted just four wins. From there, the team logged seven wins his sophomore year, 13 wins his junior season and 17 wins his senior year, as the Stars logged their first back-to-back winning seasons since the 1991-92 and 1992-93 seasons.
